JUAN was a lifesaver. Me and my daughter made last minute scuba diving res a day before . Unfortunately we made a knuckle headed Decision to get tattoos that evening and then realize that we can’t go into the Salt water because of infection fear. Considering This was last minute I didn’t have High hopes for any refund, But He refunded us the amount. You can hardly find such kind of business. Etiquette and people like Juan. Thank you, sir. I promise to let everyone know how great Cartagena is and How amazing you guys are.

Highly highly recommend. I did my part A open water at home & finished my part B with Buzos. Alvaros was amazing - really nice & thorough instructor who spoke very good English! I had the best time and came away with some cool pictures that he took!

Excellent experience. Everybody is so friendly and professional. We dove a sunken ship and then a night dive off the reef. Very cool- definitely recommend this outfit

Una experiencia inolvidable.... Buenos equipos... Muy buena y potente lancha de 2 motores... Excelentes instructores... Buenos Snacks... Sitos estupendos donde hice las 2 inmersiones.... Un barco hundido y una variedad lindísima de peses. Los recomiendo al 100 %.... Espero regresar pronto con ellos

Wonderful thorough dive school. Did my open water cert with Alvaro in late January, and he did a great job. I’ve since gone on almost 20 dives and completed my AOW. I can’t recommend this company enough! Super good

Mi mama y yo teniamos el sueño de certificarnos como buzos desde hace un tiempo ya que nos encanta el mar y la natacion. Gracias al equipo de Buzos de Baru, mencion especial a Alvaro, este sueño se hizo realidad, ahora somos buzos certificados!!! La didactica, la paciencia y la guia de Alvaro nos ayudo un monton. Baru and Islas del Rosario Reef

25 minutes away from Cartagena by boat

Visibility: 7m – 20m

Depending on different weather conditions we will find ranges of visibility in the water. Our boat captains and instructors will search for the best site for each dive.

Temperatura del Agua: 28ºC – 30ºC

The Caribbean Sea has a pleasant temperature throughout the year. The use of wetsuits is not necessary for body temperature protection.

Marine Life: Coral Reef

This ecosystem is known as the Underwater Forest because it is full of life and movement. We will find fish, crustaceans, and molluscs of different kinds. Our PADI Instructors will point out and indicate their characteristics.

More about our environment

The reefs of Barú, Islas and the Salmedina lighthouse have coral barriers that defend against the waves and allow us to dive every day of the year.

We will find several shipwrecks, some sank intentionally for diving and others for unknown reasons, a car, a ship turret, a warship, a barge, ancient cannons scattered in various sites and much more.
