  The dive trip with Buzos de Baru was really nice. Everything was well organized. There was enough space on the boat to feel comfortable and enjoy the time in between the dives. The actual dives were amazing as well. At the end, they even send you the photos of the dive free of charge. I booked a trip with them twice and would definitely go back.

  Super seguro. Los Master son todos unos expertos. Las aguas visitadas muy agradables y divertidas. Estuvimos tres grupos. Uno de personas iniciando. Otros expertos y los que estamos tomando horas para divertirnos. Fue sensacional y muy recomendable para lograr una visita a Cartagena memorable.

  The team - Ivan , Santiago, Alvaro, and Eder along with Ivan were friendly from the start . The boat ride to the diving locations was cool and scenic . The crew paid attention to safety , ensured we had on our life jackets before departing . At the diver site, everyone was further briefed, safety signs etc and when we entered the water , more checks to ensure we were good to go.
During the dive , Ivan ensured that he was always close and eager to show the aquatic life - rays , lion fish and lobsters.

I would certainly recommend Buzo to anyone wishing to experience diving in Cartagena. Despite Spanish not being my first language , all the crew spoke to me in English and all instructions were clear as day. Do check them out whenever you are in CTG. Muchas Gracias Buzo

Baru Reef & Rosario Islands

25 minutes away from Cartagena by boat

Visibility: 7m – 20m

Depending on different weather conditions we will find ranges of visibility in the water. Our boat captains and instructors will search for the best site for each dive.

Water temperature: 28ºC – 30ºC

The Caribbean Sea has a pleasant temperature throughout the year. The use of wetsuits is not necessary for body temperature protection.

Marine Life: Coral Reef

This ecosystem is known as the Underwater Forest because it is full of life and movement. We will find fish, crustaceans, and molluscs of different kinds. Our PADI Instructors will point out and indicate their characteristics.

More about our environment

The reefs of Barú, Islas and the Salmedina lighthouse have coral barriers that defend against the waves and allow us to dive every day of the year.

We will find several shipwrecks, some sank intentionally for diving and others for unknown reasons, a car, a ship turret, a warship, a barge, ancient cannons scattered in various sites and much more.
